Electronic and mechanical design

You know how this usually works. Before you can get assistance from a manufacturer, you have to undergo all the necessary procedures beforehand. All designs and prototypes are on you to figure out. Startups are expected to independently source different subcontractors for assistance with R&D, prototype production, create an initial series for clinical trials, and complete DFM (Design for Manufacture). Not only is this process arduous and time-consuming, but it is expensive, too. Getting your product off the ground can sometimes feel impossible with so many steps to complete - and this is before you have even reached the production stage. With all your resources spent and your budget gone, your MedTech startup and products may never even have the chance to succeed. 

We decided to change all that. Unlike other incubator programs, we provide the manufacturing infrastructure necessary for all the beginning stages of your product. From producing prototypes and initial series, to cleanroom operations and lab space, we accompany startups throughout the complete production process. This in-house support reduces potential expenses and a reliance on subcontractors, as well as cutting down on the time needed to get your product to market. Documentation/configuration control

Documentation is the nightmare of every startup. What needs to be documented? How do you make sure you have covered all your bases? What about if you lose some paperwork? The details are overwhelming - and they shouldn’t be your main concern. With so many other things on your mind, it is important to focus on what matters most. 

That’s why we cover all components of documentation and configuration control in our MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system. This includes product PL, building assembly trees, mechanical drawings, electronic drawings and wirings, and assembly drawings. Every aspect of your product planning is carefully documented so you can forge ahead with your idea. 

Hardware, software and PCB development

You have your design and documentation figured out - but what about your hardware and software? These are crucial to the success of your medical device. At Chaban Medical, we take your circuit board plan from design to production with our PCB (Printed Circuit Board) development, often in cooperation with a strategic partner. This typically includes three stages: design, manufacturing and testing. We ensure that our PCB development is always up to the highest standards.

Mass production built to print/spec

This is the stage that has the potential to be particularly stressful. You have invested energy, time, money, and other resources into making sure your product is set up for success.
